I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't see it with my own eyes. 'Tis here. (Warning: the NYT would like your first-born in exchange for reading that article.) It's even fairly informed, in a weird "I don't know what the hell these guys with beards are talking about, but I'll write it down anyhow" kind of way. It's always funny to read articles about electronic instrumentation written by people that either lack a fundamental understanding of the processes, or are trying to dumb the material down to where a layman can understand it. I mean, how do you describe the Continuum to someone that lacks the language? Shit, I've been married for 13 years, and my wife still doesn't quite understand why a controller keyboard doesn't actually make noise. I mean, she gets the general idea, but she doesn't know it, right? The thought of trying to justify the purchase of a Continuum to her makes me throw up a little in my mouth. (Aside from the fact that the justification isn't really necessary, as she's remarkably understanding about such things.) Anyhow, it's good for a chuckle, and he even tracked down a couple I hadn't heard of.
