You've almost certainly come up against a limit to the size of attachments when sending graphics, video, or audio files. Typically, anything that exceeds an e-mail server's maximum size will just get bounced back. Some ISPs limit attachments to as little as 2MB, although most now have upped that to 5MB. But an audio file may be 10MB or more, even compressed. One workaround is to use iChat rather than e-mail. Once you have an iChat session started with someone, you can go under the Buddies menu and choose Send File. Then you'll navigate to the file you want to send, click OK, and the file will be sent to the person you're chatting with. A link to download your file actually appears in the recipient's iChat window. By doing it this way, there is no actual limit to the size of the file you can send!
