Meyer Sound's MILO In-the-Round at London's O2 Arena
Named as the 28th most influential artist in the world by Rolling Stone
magazine, the artist made famous by his name changes and a certain
predilection for purple is using a Meyer Sound system for his
performances at London's 02 Arena through September 21. Major Tom Ltd.
is supplying the audio for the in-the-round concerts comprised of 104
MILO, 20 M'elodie, 40 700-HP and seven UPA-1P, all aligned, processed,
monitored and predicted with Galileo 616, SIM 3, RMS and MAPP Online
Pro.
"We have been doing in the round systems for over 15 years and have
brought them to near perfection," says Lars Brogaard of Major Tom, who
supplied the sound system for these concerts. "Therefore, it was easy
for us to provide the sound system for these shows. It sounds
extraordinary, in every seat." Production manager for the tour is Chris
Reynolds, Bill Shappell is front of house engineer, and Concert Sound is
providing the monitors and controls. Concert dates for this mysterious
musician can be found here:
